Originally from Louisiana, Dr. Cain has dedicated over 15 years to providing exceptional healthcare, ensuring patients feel safe and comfortable during their procedures.
Dr. Cain earned both her Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Columbia University, where she honed her expertise in anesthesia and patient care. Her passion for helping others extends beyond the clinic, as she also enjoys therapy work with her beloved yellow lab, Leia.
When she’s not caring for patients, you can find Dr. Cain exploring the world through scuba diving, traveling, and immersing herself in a good book. Her commitment to both professional excellence and personal fulfillment makes her a valued member of our team.

Dr. La Donna Brown
Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia
With over 18 years of healthcare experience, Dr. La Donna Brown brings expert, compassionate anesthesia care to patients of all ages. She practices throughout Maryland and Virginia and has cared for patients nationwide in hospital and outpatient settings.
Dr. Brown holds a Master’s in Nurse Anesthesiology from the University of New England and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University. Outside of her clinical work, she is passionate about volunteering, global mission work, exploring the arts through music, and attending Broadway shows. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and trying new cuisines.

Dr. Kelly Betts takes the time to listen and understand her patient’s needs and concerns in order to provide them with long-term stability and comfort. She believes in educating and empowering her patients so that they can achieve their personal oral health goals. While doing all of this, she strives to make every appointment a fun and inviting experience for every patient by engaging in conversation and laughter.
Dr. Kelly Betts is a General Dentist with experience in a wide range of comprehensive dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, tongue-tie/lip-tie, sports dentistry, and more. Dr. Betts worked as a dental assistant and hygienist for almost 10 years before becoming a dentist, which has allowed her to develop a very unique perspective and approach to dental care.

Dr. Colin J. Stanhope

Dr. Colin J. Stanhope, DDS, MD – Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Colin J. Stanhope is a highly skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive training in both dentistry and medicine. A Maryland native, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry before completing a rigorous six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. During this time, he also achieved his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, completed a year in general surgery and served as the elected Chief Resident of the OMFS department in his final year. Dr. Stanhope has continued his relationship with the University where he serves as part time faculty teaching oral surgery residents as well as dental students.

Laurice is an experienced expanded functions dental assistant and implant coordinator, known for her exceptional service, attention to detail, and fun-loving personality. She is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels at ease, especially those with dental anxiety—something she understands firsthand. Her compassionate approach allows her to provide the care and comfort she would want for herself.
Beyond the dental office, Laurice is a talented musician who writes and performs R&B music under the name Lady Love. Her passion for creativity and connection shines both in her music and in the care she provides to patients every day.

Princess Leia, our beloved therapy dog at Integrative Dental Wellness! This sweet yellow lab is a certified therapy dog through Pets on Wheels (POW) and has been bringing comfort and joy to our patients for over two years.
When she’s not spreading smiles at IDW, Leia loves swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and playing at the beach. Of course, being royalty comes with responsibilities—like eating and taking well-deserved naps after a long day of being adored. Whether you’re feeling a little anxious or just need a furry friend to brighten your day, Leia is always here to provide a calming presence and plenty of tail wags!
